Building your personal brand may be easier than you think, but you have to work towards it step by step.  Making a business card should be your first step, followed by learning your field, building your credibility, and remembering your essentials.  Your brand is not just your reputation.  Your brand is also what people perceive when they search for you online.  Remember that it can take years to build your personal brand, so start by setting aside some time each week to work on it.  You want to keep adding to what you already have because each step is a step towards successfully building your business and your life around your personal brand.
