Maria enjoys traveling to speak to groups from small teams to large conferences. Her message brings inspiration and energy to every audience. With a background in IT Project Management, Maria is a workflow management expert and has consulted management teams, executives and individual project teams on streamlining processes, increasing efficiencies and organizational change. Maria specializes in Professional Coaching and guiding individuals and organizations toward achieving their goals.

Maria is a published author and holds more than 10 industry certifications encompassing coaching, facilitation, project management, and leads certification training classes for organizations throughout the world. Maria has worked with virtual teams coordinating international conferences in Cape Town, South Africa, Amsterdam and throughout the United States and has supported the growth of communities internationally, including Malaysia, China, India and other locations, helping people discover better ways to work and get results faster.

Maria has also worked with lean start up companies and several Not for Profit Groups.

Maria took her consulting outside the normal office walls when she formed her Boardroom on the Beach group, doing business consulting on the beach in Clearwater, Florida and she coordinates a yearly Boardroom Cruise with targeted strategy sessions and networking opportunities along with relaxation and fun.

Professional Coaching

Maria has a real passion for helping her clients identify their goals and how to achieve them. She enjoys working with individuals to clearly articulate their desires and stay accountable to their objectives and also guides leadership teams through strategic planning.

Maria formed the Rapid Business Development and Lifestyle Design groups to help people reach their goals and achieve results further than they originally thought they could.

Leadership

Maria has worked with several not for profit groups and has held various Leadership roles. Maria was an Area Governor for Toastmasters International, District 30 in Chicago, IL, and as President of Extreme Toastmasters, she led the group in attracting, producing, and developing elite speakers in a comfortable, supportive and mentoring environment. Maria held the seat of VP of Operations for the Project Management Institute (PMI) Central Illinois Chapter for two years, was Chapter Engagement Representative for the PMI Agile Community of Practice, and completed the PMI Leadership Institute Masters Class. Maria is also Founder and President of the Illinois Regional Agile Users Group (IRAUG), an organization dedicated to serving the community and providing learning opportunities on Agile project management practices. Maria regularly attends and speaks at many industry conferences.
