It’s always an adventure while traveling around the world… while in India, there was a moment when we were approaching a pretty heavy traffic jam and our driver turned around in the middle of the road and drove into oncoming traffic! It was absolutely amazing!!! We safely made it to the next intersection and saved hours of stand still traffic…

Hear a recap of my New Zealand trip on my last day in Fiji!
It was a dream come true to stay in an overwater Bungalow!!!
Incredible to DJ at the Hilton Fiji Beach Resort and Spa Infinity Pool in Nadi, Fiji!
It was pretty amazing to DJ at the infinity pool on the private island at the Iririki Island Resort and Spa in Vanuatu!
What an amazing experience!
Traveling from L.A. –> Queenstown, NZ –> Dunedin, NZ –> Bay of Islands, NZ –> Vanuatu –> Fiji
Starting in Queenstown, New Zealand, meeting 39 incredible people, performing random acts of kindness, and exploring the city in adventure mode.
Dunedin, New Zealand, speaking on stage and DJing at the Forsyth Barr Stadium in New Zealand at the INSPIRE event to raise money for the Sophie Elliott Foundation to create awareness on preventing violence against young women.
Bay of Islands, New Zealand, staying off the grid with an indigenous tribe on a Marae for five days and bringing fresh water filters to nearby tribes.
Vanuatu, bringing fresh water filters to schools, churches, and non profit organizations and providing training for the locals on how to use them.
The best part of this trip was the inward journey and opportunities for self reflection throughout these many countries and cultures.
It was an absolute dream come true to DJ at the stadium and also DJ at the Marae with the tribe!!!
It has definitely been an adventure with an amazing group of people!! And lasting friendships for years to come.
Will be heading to Fiji tomorrow for a week of reflection and relaxation.

I rather enjoy this conference on a cruise ship trend and I bet you will too!
I had the privilege of speaking at a marketing event on a cruise ship to Cozumel, Mexico to a group of business owners from the Tampa Bay Business Owners group.
I spoke on Agile Marketing and this was one of the first formal presentations as we unveiled case studies of the incredible results we have seen our clients get when applying the Agile techniques to Marketing, the same techniques that we have seen such incredible results in product development and software development.
The coolest format of this trip is that we left out of the Tampa port and had a day at sea, then a day of excursions in Cozumel, Mexico, then another day at sea to return to Florida. On the days at sea, we had a line up of expert speakers and then the conversations while lounging on the beach were around application of these processes and strategies. I can’t think of much of a better way to hold a conference or event!!
The view in Cozumel was just amazing!
There were so many great networking opportunities and so much learning of new strategies and techniques – all in one of the coolest environments!
We are heading on our next cruise in January 2016 – the Boardroom Cruise where we will be talking about more business strategies and marketing techniques! You won’t want to miss this!!

I had the honor of speaking at the Shanghai Scrum Gathering on the value of connecting with our customers and the importance of customer collaboration.
There were so many great conversations and I had the opportunity to talk with several Agilists about the Agile Advantage they see in their use of Agile and Scrum around the world.
I had the opportunity to interview several of the speakers and agile practitioners including Joe Justice, Keynote Speaker, Founder of Wikispeed, and Trainer at Scrum Inc.
Expert interviews include Joe Justice, Manny Gonzales, Vernon Stinebaker, Julien Mazloum, Stephen Forte, Daniel Gullo, and Jun Wang.
Joe gave an incredible Keynote presentation on Scrum in Manufacturing
Stephen Forte, Managing Partner at Fresco Capital talked about Agile and Lean full circle.
Manny Gonzales, the CEO at the Scrum Alliance talked about the State of Scrum survey results.
The Shangri-La venue for the Gathering was incredible and people attended from all around the world.
It was an incredible trip to Shanghai and a good refresher that the challenges we see in one location tend to be similar challenges around the world and the same good agile practices can combat those challenges to reach a level of continuous improvement and a level of higher performance.
I just arrived back in Chicago after a week in Arizona.. (What a delight!! A whole week in one location!!)
It was one of those cool Gotham City-like nights. It’s always eerie when you can’t see the tops of buildings that you normally see. I’m sure Batman is out there somewhere.
What to do on a Saturday night with one day in Chicago after being on the road for a week and transitioning to another city in a day? Absolutely nothing. I ordered carryout seafood from Eddie V’s – to include a caesar salad, lobster bisque soup, and their ever-so-divine scallops, and it was dreamy.
